The CHBA - One Association Working at Three Levels to Serve Our Members.
The Canadian Home Builders' Association is organized at three levels -- locally, provincially and nationally. All three levels of the CHBA work together to serve our members by keeping you informed, involved and prepared for today's business challenges.
When you join the Canadian Home Builders' Association - Lethbridge Region, you automatically become a member at the provincial and national levels, and receive services from all three levels. Here's a quick look at the benefits CHBA membership provides:
- Locally
The CHBA - Lethbridge Region offers monthly meetings, newsletters, publications, workshops, access to expert advice, marketing campaigns, demonstration projects, awards programs, social activities...a full slate of services and activities that provides you the opportunity to make business contacts, gain knowledge and build your visibility with consumers. - Provincially
The Canadian Home Builders' Association - Alberta works with the provincial government and agencies on a wide range of housing matters, from codes and standards, to Safety, infrastructure financing and environmental legislation. Education and training programs for CHBA members are organized and delivered at the provincial level. - Nationally
CHBA's national office provides a "hub" for the entire membership. The national office works with the federal government on issues that affect members-finance policy, taxation and the underground economy are some examples. As well, CHBA collaborates with public and private agencies to promote housing research and demonstration projects, consumer education programs and national marketing initiatives like New Homes Month and Renovation Month. The national office also provides members with a wide range newsletters, technical and marketing publications, and presents the annual CHBA National Conference and Awards programs.
